My purpose for travel was to explore the Douro Valley and I stayed at Outros Tempos - Turismo De Aldeia for 3 nights. The staff, especially Lady Clara, made me feel like I was back at my grandmother's house. The freshly baked cakes and open bar were a delightful treat. I loved the fact that all facilities were available for use and the homemade jams were so good that I ended up buying three jars. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The meals provided were outstanding and the traditional Portuguese meal prepared by the host was a highlight. The location offered breathtaking views of the surrounding land.

The hotel also offered tours and ticket assistance, making it easy for us to explore the area. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The spacious and comfortable sitting area, dining table, and patio with garden furniture added to the overall experience. The hotel also provided free toiletries, cookware, and a flat-screen TV, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The remote location made it a bit difficult to find, especially at night, so be sure to have clear directions before arriving. parking was a bit of a challenge as there were limited spaces available, making it tough for those who arrived later in the day.

The location of this hotel was stunning, overlooking a beautiful valley and surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious and included homemade treats. It was also a great touch that the staff were able to arrange transportation to and from the hotel for us, saving us the hassle of figuring it out on our own.

The remote location of the hotel made it difficult to find and access. Additionally, there were limited dining options nearby, forcing us to rely on the hotel's dinner offerings. While the food was tasty, it would have been nice to have more options for dining out.
